The Manitoba Division of The Navy League of Canada held their first annual Awards Dinner at the West Kildonan Legion on Saturday, November 17, 2018. At the dinner awards were handed out to Division members who had reached milestones in their years of service to The Navy League of Canada, including five new Life Memberships. In addition to those amazing volunteers, awards were given to the four members of the Sea Cadet Centennial Planning Committee who went above and beyond, contributing their time and skills, to help make the Sea Cadet Centennial Celebration in June an outstanding success.

Life Associate Membership

In recognition of outstanding leadership and service of the highest order to The Navy League of Canada and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet movement, five Manitoba Division members were awarded their Life Associate Membership.

Award of Appreciation

In recognition of outstanding support and assistance in realizing the League's objectives of producing good citizens through its youth movement and increasing the awareness of the need to protect Canada's sea resources and sovereignty through a strong maritime presence, four Manitoba Division members were recognized.

The following four members of the Sea Cadet Centennial Planning Committee, and one Cadet, went above and beyond, contributing their time and skills, to help make this June's Sea Cadet Centennial Celebration an outstanding success.
